Specific emissions vs consumption of new cars

Trends in specific energy consumption of new thermal cars in l/100 km and specific CO₂ emissions in gCO₂/km (WLTP) are close for most countries. In some countries (especially in North of EU), specific emissions are decreasing fastest compared to specific consumption of new thermal cars due to the spread of electric cars.
